Bradford City and Huddersfield Town 2019/2020 Fixtures Confirmed

They were announced at 9am this morning (20/6).

Huddersfield Town and Bradford City's fixtures for their respective campaigns in the Championship and League Two have been announced.


Bradford City

The Bantams will kick off their League Two campaign at home to Cambridge United – on Saturday August 3.

A hectic festive period will see Gary Bowyer’s men play five games in two weeks, getting underway on December 21 when City host newly-promoted Salford.

The Bantams face a trip to Carlisle on Boxing Day, before hosting Mansfield Town on December 29 - and Morecambe on New Year’s Day.

City’s final game of the season will be played at home to fellow Sky Bet League Two newcomers Walsall, on Saturday April 25.

Huddersfield Town

Huddersfield Town’s 2019/20 Championship season will begin with a home game against Derby County on the evening of Monday 5 August 2019 at the John Smith’s Stadium.

A home game against Nottingham Forest leads into the Christmas period, with games scheduled away at Middlesbrough on Boxing Day and at home to Blackburn Rovers on 29 December.

The final fixtures see Town travel to Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday 18 April, with a home game against West Bromwich Albion following on 25 April.

The final fixture of the 2019/20 Sky Bet Championship season will see Town travel to Millwall, when all fixtures will kick-off at 12.30pm on Saturday 2 May 2020.

Meanwhile it's also the draw for the first round of League Cup later. Both the Terriers and the Bantams are in the hat. The draw's at 7pm and we need to look out for numbers 15 and 6 respectively.
