Pedestrian Killed After Being Hit By Car In Bradford

The woman in her sixties was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are appealing for information following a fatal road traffic collision in Bradford.

It happened at about 5.50pm yesterday (14/11) when a grey Vauxhall Astra travelling along the A650 Wakefield Road towards Bradford city centre, was in collision with a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a woman in her sixties, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver, a man in his thirties, has been spoken to by police.

The Major Collision Enquiry Team is investigating this collision and anyone who witnessed it, or who may have dash cam footage which will assist is asked to contact the team on 101, or use the reporting options on the West Yorkshire Police website.
